These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Rails Billiards FZCO — both the venue at Cluster C, JLT, Dubai and this website at rails.ae. By making a booking, creating an account, or entering our venue, you agree to these Terms.
1. About us
Rails Billiards FZCO is a gaming café operating in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Contact: info@rails.ae, +971 4 423 7742.
2. What we offer
- Use of gaming PCs across our five zones (Starter, Challenger, Pro, Elite, VIP);
- Billiards tables, PlayStation stations, cinema room, foosball;
- Food and beverages from our kitchen;
- Birthday packages, corporate events, and tournaments;
- Online bookings and account management through this website.
3. Your account
You can use most of our services without an account. To see your ggLeap balance, time, and active packages on this website, you need to sign in (with Google or a one-time email link) and link your ggLeap account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method and the email associated with it secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Bookings
4.1 Confirmation
A booking is confirmed when (a) you receive a confirmation message from us by WhatsApp or email, and (b) any required payment or deposit has been received. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any booking that conflicts with existing reservations, falls outside our operating hours, or in our reasonable view does not meet venue capacity or safety requirements.
4.2 Pricing
Prices are shown in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices on this website are correct at the time of publication and may change without notice; the price quoted at the time of booking is the price you pay.
4.3 Payment and booking fees
We may collect a booking fee in advance to secure your reservation (for example, on birthday packages a 50% deposit). The remaining balance is due at the venue. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card details.
4.4 Arrival
Please arrive on time. We will hold your booking for up to 15 minutes after the start time; after that we may release the station to a walk-in customer and the booking fee is non-refundable.
5. Cancellations and refunds
- Standard bookings: cancel or reschedule with at least 4 hours' notice for a full refund of any pre-paid amount. Inside 4 hours, the booking fee is non-refundable.
- Birthday packages: the 50% deposit is refundable with at least 7 days' notice. Inside 7 days, the deposit is non-refundable but may be applied to a future date subject to availability.
- No-shows: 100% of any pre-paid amount is forfeited.
- We reserve the right to refund or cancel at our discretion for unforeseen events (e.g. venue closure for safety or technical reasons). In that case we will refund pre-paid amounts in full.
6. House rules
To keep Rails fun and safe for everyone:
- Treat staff and other guests with respect.
- No outside food or drinks without prior arrangement.
- Do not damage, tamper with, or attempt to modify our equipment, peripherals, or software.
- No installation of third-party software, accounts, or cheats on our PCs.
- No smoking or vaping inside the venue.
- Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- We may refuse service or ask you to leave if you breach these rules, behave abusively, or are visibly intoxicated.
7. Birthday packages and events
Birthday packages, tournaments, and corporate events are subject to the specific package terms communicated to you at booking. The 50% deposit policy in section 5 applies. We may capture photos and video at events; let staff know on arrival if you do not want the birthday party photographed.
8. Account balances and GamePasses
ggLeap account credit and GamePasses purchased at the venue are non-refundable and non-transferable once issued, except where UAE consumer-protection law requires otherwise. GamePasses expire on the date shown on the pass or, where no expiry is shown, 12 months after purchase.
9. Intellectual property
The Rails Gaming name, logo, and website content (including text, graphics, photos, and design) are owned by Rails Gaming or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. Game titles, hardware brands, and other trademarks shown on this site belong to their respective owners. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish our content without our prior written consent.
10. Disclaimers and liability
We provide the venue and the website on an "as is" basis. We try hard to keep equipment and the website working reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the venue or this website;
- Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to Rails Gaming in the 12 months preceding the claim;
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law (including death, personal injury, or fraud).
Bring valuables at your own risk. We are not responsible for personal items left at the venue.
11. Third-party services
This website integrates with services operated by Stripe, Google, Meta, ggLeap, Supabase, and Vercel. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the most recent change. For bookings that have already been confirmed, the Terms in effect at the time of booking apply.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of United Arab Emirates and, where applicable, the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
